I'm trying to calculate the tolerance factors of the hydride perovskite and the value calculated by me and the reported values are contradictory. Need more clarity in using the correct ionic radii of elements.
The hydrogen ion is positive. Therefore it is a cation. The size of a hydrogen cation is equal to the size of a proton. The hydride ion anion (negative hydrogen ion) has a pair of electrons in the 1s2 state. Their backs are directed in opposite directions. The ion radii are presented in tables.
