As part of my PhD I would like to conduct an international online survey of authors of systematic reviews that will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. I wish to incentivise people to take part in the survey in some way. For budget planning, it would be best to make a raffle, as I cannot say exactly how many of the people I invite will participate.
The problem is that gift cards etc. are usually issued in a particular currency and can only be used in the respective countries. For example, Amazon gift cards bought in the American shop and issued in US-Dollar, can only be used in that shop. So, if a person from Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania or South America won the gift card, it would not be of much use for them as the costs for shipping and customs duty would be fairly high.
What other ways are there to incentivise people from all over the world to take part in a brief online survey?
You could say you would share the results and conclusions of your study with them via email. That will also weed out the low-quality respondents, as only folks with some interest in the topic of your study will be incentivized to participate. By the way, Amazon might have online gift cards that can be used anywhere and in any currency. I'm not sure but it doesn't hurt to check. Good luck with your study.

I already checked with amazon and unfortunately their gift cards are not valid globally. However, I found another solution that I might try: pre-paid credit cars, e.g. https://www.rybbon.net/virtualvisa/ or https://www.mycard2go.com/en/ (I believe Mastercard has similar offers).
Money is often not the best incentive to take part in online surveys. The purpose of the survey must appear interesting and credible. The design of the survey is also very crucial. People wont leave the survey in between, if it is well designed.
