Dear Collegues,

If we want to perform immunohistochemistry /immunofluorence staining from FFPE human biopsy (vein) samples and study the presence of LPS and or common pathogen like Porphyromonas gingivalis in them. Which kind of issues we have to consider to avoid contamination? The samples are sterile but the used reagents are 'normal' commercial immunohistochemistry and immunofluorence materials. Does commercial immunohistochemistry and immunofluorence materials contain LPS residuals and is the cross-contamination (positive control and studied samples) during the process possible?

Very satisfied with your reply :-)
