I synthesize gold nanoparticles using Gold(Ⅲ) chloride, Sodium citrate and attach the AuNPs to aptamer(similar single DNA). The final solution will be dropped on paper plate and dried to hold them on.
I hope there will be no change in the size of the particles since this is not a color analysis test. If the size of AuNPs is too small, the particles will likely aggregation with each other.
I think there's a correlation between the size of the particles and the attachment of the aptamer. Do you have any information about this? And I should use as little aptamer as possible, so I'd be grateful if you could consider this as well.
