Dear members,

I have a single storey reinforced system which is strenghtened with Steel Plate Shear Wall. due to finite elements having very small dimensions (because of studs) stable time incerement is very small (around 1 x e-7). Therefore, I need to speed up the analysis and use mass scaling factor.

the question is, what kind of mass scaling factor should I choose? 10, 100, 1000... or much more? at the same time, I need to get the least kinetic energy as possible as I can as a need of cyclic loading process.
