Despite major progress in qPCR standards by MIQE Guidelines, qPCR results, at times, continue to exhibit unacceptable variations when normalized to a single (or multiple) stably expressed reference gene. Our results indicate that normalization of q-PCR (SYBR Green) in the lung epithelium under acute inflammation, is inadequate using  ACTB. That with GAPDH is barely acceptable. Does anyone share similar experience and/or ideas of reference genes that offer better results in this milieu? Thanks!
