I'm little confused about the secretion of IL4. In some papers it is mentioned that B cells secrete IL4, on other that it is Th cells, or even basophils.
Can you also provide me with papers/journals supporting your answer please?

Hi, Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a pleiotropic cytokine produced in response to receptor activation by TH2-type CD4+ T cells, basophils, and mast cells.
The Locksley lab @ UCSF produced some of the initial IL4 reporter animals - called the "4get" mice. Any cell in these animals that produces IL4 also expresses GFP. I'd recommend starting with this publication PMID:11520464 ; and then checking any relevant follow-on pubs. As mentioned by Emmanuel, T/B cells, ILCs, NK cells and various myeloid populations can produce IL4. The various pubs will highlight the contexts under which this can occur.
I L-4 is produced mainly by activated lymphocytes T cell ,mast cell and neutrophils which are considered main producer for this type of cytokine. So It has been reported that other cells , such as liver , fibroblasts, brain and muscle cells , are able to express IL-4.
