"true experimental design" would have you formulate an hypothesis not an activity "evaluating" and your methods defining parameters that satisfy catalytic activity.
There should not be pre and post questions - you should use the experimental method. Application of the experimental method answers, not asks, questions.
I think Experimental design have 2 parts. The "experimental" which you are testing a hypothesis or a research question. And the "design" which is how you want to make sure you have the right answer. A good place to start is your research problem.
Appreciate your response. I mean your design (at least in my area of research) we set up the groups including the control to make sure other variables are controlled except the one we testing for. And by the right answer is to avoid type 1 and type 2 errors. Regards
