Hi, I'm looking for a membrane dye that is compatible with EGFP and that can be excited with a 561 laser and observed with a 575-625 filter. The most important parameter is that it will not be a FRET pair with GFP. Thank you!

I don't have a dye to tell you but you may find the answer by checking on this

If you type (E)GFP as a donor, you can see its fluorescence/emission spectra and you can add any dye as an acceptor. You will also see the spectra of this second dye and the chances of FRET to occur based on the overlap of their spectra.
As an example, I tried Alexa568 which fits your requirements and the degree of overlap is not very large (although I think it will be very hard to completely eliminate FRET).
