I'm prepared ZnO/TiO2 bilayer thin films.ZnO and TiO2 are n-type semiconductors.And we know that the homojunction is a junction between the same materials with the same crystalline structure,heterojunction is a junction between different materials or the same materials but with the different crystalline structure. So TiO2 and ZnO have the same type(n-type) but have different structure and different band gap.
What is the type (basically homojunction or heterojunction of this nanostructure)

Since you're working on semiconductor junctions, you should be careful about this kind of definition. The heterojunction is a juxtaposition of two materials or more with different bandgaps. The heterojunction has nothing to do with the nature of the material or with its type.
