I'm not sure what you mean when you say you can't find tyrosine. Are you saying you don't have it in your lab or can't find a supplier? This is a common amino acid and any chemical supplier should have it, e.g., Sigma, Thermo Fisher, etc. If you're looking for another amino acid that is similar to tyrosine and can be used in its place, you can try phenylalanine. Chemically, this is nearly identical to tyrosine. Tyrosine has a hydroxyl group (-OH) in the para position on the phenyl ring. Phenylalanine does not have an -OH group; otherwise it is identical to tyrosine.
I hope this information helps you.

Do you have materials to synthesize it if you can't find a replacement? It may not be feasible (time or cost), but Strecker, Gabriel, Malonic Ester synthesis could get you Tyrosine if you have access to Phenol, 4-(Bromomethyl)phenol, or other starting materials. Again, it may not be something that would be worth it if it is readily available from a supplier.
