I'm working with Cladosporium cladosporioides, and I need to do an analysis by SEM to see the morphology characteristics and interaction with linocellulosic substrate. Anyone have a protocol for the preparation of the sample?
I have never worked with fungal samples on SEM, but I am assuming that the protocol will be similar.
Can you not do a standard electron micrscopy fixation protocol? Once the same is fixed and dehydrated etc., you can carbon coat it and view the sample.
