I need to do a 24 hours infection experiment and want to know how many cells/well (maximum) I can seed in a 6-well plate, 12 hrs prior to experiment.
Reason being that I don't want to handle a ton of plates as I have large number of variables/condition.

Hi,
I used RAW cell line for my experiments, but using 24 wells plate, at concentration of 1-2 x 10^5 in infection experiment. However, 2-3 x 10^5 to one million cells/well mostly used for 6 wells plate. Depending what type of experiment that you will apply you can choose the cells confluency. For instance In cells imaging less confluent cells is better.
