It's kind of interesting that current research of solar photochemistry is mostly focused in visible and ultra violate light while a large proportion of IR light is not considered. The nanosynthesis community have developed lots of structures with IR absorbance such as CuSx, anisotropic gold or silver nanoparticles. What is the major challenging here in using IR light for solar photochemistry? Thanks!
