One of our students accidentally used most of the proteinase K solution that came with BioRad's Singleshot cell lysis kit. There is no concentration written on the tube or in the protocol of the kit and BioRad do not sell it individually. We have proteinase K in the lab, but do not know what concentration we should use. Anyone got any ideas?

In this link they mention following:
The working concentration is 50-100 µg/ml for protein removal and enzyme inactivation, and up to 2 mg/ml for tissue treatment.
1 mg of Proteinase K is the equivalent of 30 mAU (AU = Anson unit).

We generally use 20uL of Proteinase K from a stock solution of 20mg/mL in 200uL lysis solution for cyanobacterial cells. You can try this.
