We generally prepare 10% sarcosyl in deionnized water (w/v) as stock solution. If it appears cloudy you can warm it up at 45 degreesC waterbath for a few minutes.

You can easy dissolve this compound in water. pH of the 10% solution is around 8. To enhance solubility you can increase tempertaure to 25-30°C

Hi Debabani. Do you dissolve it on magnetic stirrer overnight with heat?
Hope you are talking about the Sarkosyl salt.
Please let me know the brand/ make of Sarkosyl that you use.

We use N-LAUROYL SARCOSINE SODIUM SALT (Cat # 190289, MP Biomedicals). The sodium salt is soluble in water, gives a slightly hazy solution, which we warm up at 45C prior to use. I am attaching the MSDS of the product.
