I'm not sure what you are trying to do. In what form is the silver that you are trying to dissolve? Is it a salt of Ag or is your starting material solid silver metal? If it is a silver salt, you can do a google search on that compound and find out in what solvents it will dissolve. Some silver salts are very soluble, e.g., AgNO3.
If you are trying to dissolve solid silver, you can use nitric acid (HNO3). This works well, resulting in a solution of AgNO3.
