In our latest project we need to do some GBS. Places we've looked into seem to have a substantial backlog. Can anyone suggest companies/universities that provide this service?
I started a genotyping-by-sequencing company called SNPsaurus (snpsaurus.com). We developed nextRAD genotyping as a method suitable for large populations (my lab had previously developed RAD-Seq genotyping). If you send a brief project description to me ([email protected]) I can work up some possibilities.

I am from Science Exchange and we have 8 labs on our platform that can render the genotyping by sequencing service for you. Please check using the following link:
The naming conventions are a mess in this area, aren't they? I liked "genotyping by sequencing" for the general idea of finding variants by sequencing as opposed to fixed genotyping platforms, and then using GBS, RADseq, ddRAD, nextRAD, etc for the exact protocol. But I admit this confuses the general idea with the GBS protocol.
I find that "RADseq" has also become a generic term used in some paper titles, which while flattering can be annoying when the article is about a different protocol and if a method evaluation may contain parts pertinent only to two-enzyme protocols rather than RADseq.
