What is the best method to detect c-peptide levels in D. melanogaster larvae?

Looking for a way to detect c-peptdie or insulin levels in D. melanogaster haemolymph. I do not have access to PCR at this time. Has anyone had success with an ELISA? I'm only finding kits for rat/human/pig etc.
