I was wondering what is the average number of SHSY5Y cells you get in a confluent flask of T25 and T75. I normally have 2x106 cells in a T25 and 7.0x106 in a T75. I tried to compare my results I cannot find further information.
If is is T25 flask the optimal Confluency is around 2.8 X 106 and in case of T75 it should be 8.4 X 106 cells.

2,88 x106 or 8, 6 x106 SH-SY5Y cells are seed in T25 or T75 flasks, respectively

your cell numbers are close to the average for the sh-sy5y line.
please consider that more than a few times these cells grow overhanging the monolayer and even forming clumps of cells. this could change significantly your perception of real confluence.
