Hello,
I am looking for signs of compromised mitochondrial function induced in the retina after in vivo injury. Is there a target for IHC or any other test that can be used to effectively quantify this?
In living cells, monitoring of mitochondrial membrane potential with dyes like TMRM by confocal microscopy (spinning disk) can be a good choice.
For IHC in fixed cells, staining of Cytochrome C can be an option.
Good luck!
Thanks very much, Pedro!
You can also check mitochondrial membrane potential with dye like JC-1.
Merci beaucoup, Sebastien!
Cytochrome C is a good choose
