I read about silver nanoparticles that they make the skin blue. But is that scientifically proven? What can cause that? And does that mean that they are toxic?
Siver nano-particles are advantageous when used in food packaging since it can confer noteworthy boundary properties, as well as mechanical, optical, catalytic, and antimicrobial properties, thereby extending the shelf life and freshness of the packed products.
Please see the attached review paper about the use of silver nanoparticles in food packaging and approval for their application by the food and drug administration.
