We used explanatory-sequential design. What data analysis we should use?
We have survey and then after survey we interview the participants.
You can use regression analysis, ANOVA and structural equation modelling depending upon your hypothesis.
Based on the objective or hypothesis, you can use regression analysis, anova and thematic content analysis (qualitative data)
The hypothesis or research questions will dictate the analysis. My opinion would be a regression analysis.
You will compare result after independently using each techniques through their respective softwares.
For quantitative: Measure of dispersion for descriptive statistics and for inferential chi-square, T-test/Anova, Correlation or regression analysis, multivariate analysis.
For qualitative: Thematic analysis, Content analysis, Narrative analysis or grounded theory
The best approach to explanatory sequential designs is to complete at least a tentative analysis of the quantitative data, and then base the qualitative data collection and analysis on those findings.
