Is there a structural explanation to why a same his-tag proteins may have different affinity to MST red-tris dye?

Both proteins are in PET28a(+) but one has high affinity (like 10 times higher) than the other his-tag protein.

I am confused as to why it is so.

Please does some have same experience?
