I'm pretty sure Bill Letter will comment on that question, but as usual the problem for such HPLC questions is that you do not provide any details on your measurement conditions - which solvent system, gradient, column etc. you use. Otherwise we can not help you. I also do not get the point what exactly you want - separation, purification at which scale?
Depends on the solubility of your target molecules and the sample matrix (since HPLC is a branch of liquid chromatography). I would think organic solvents like Methanol, Acetonitrile, IPA...
Thank you everyone for the insights. @Marcus it was silly of me not to specify the conditions. I'm using a PDA detector, reverse pahsed C18 column, binary gradient. Also the main objective is the quantification of the target compound before and after desulfurization.
