Hi everyone,

I'm encountering contamination in my Human Mammary epithelial cell cultures, but I’m unsure of its nature. After passaging, I plated cells from the same batch into 8 plates, but the contamination is only appearing in one of them, while the others remain unaffected. I’ve attached a photo of the contamination below.

What could be the possible causes for contamination in just a single plate? Could it be fungal, bacterial, or something else? Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you address it?
