I've had some difficulty in the past identifying entomopathogenic fungi that were isolated from ticks. While some fungi (such as Metarhizium) were pretty diagnostic, there were some that I had some trouble pinpointing to species. That being said, what are some useful keys, texts or other resources available for the identification of entomopathogenic fungi, particularly hyphomycete fungi?

Dear Austin, go for molecular identification methods, faster, more specific and more sensitive than morphological identification.
