Lots of work has been done in the sector of Genetics. What, according to you , are the major problems still to be solved?
We are keen in eradicating malaria, but we do not yet have the necessary tools to meet this challenge, including an effective malaria vaccine and adequate vector control strategies.

Challenges in Gene Therapy!!!!
Gene therapy is not a new field; it has been evolving for decades. Despite the best efforts of researchers around the world, however, gene therapy has seen only limited success!!!!
Gene therapy poses one of the greatest technical challenges in modern medicine. It is very hard to introduce new genes into cells of the body and keep them working.I think, Gene Therapy is the most challenging problem that is still not being solved!!!!
Not my specialty, but I'd like to see a better 'understanding' for the concept of flavour in vegetable genetically modified products...
