To examine "consumer’s perception towards FDI in retail." I had collected data from two cities meerut and agra. What type of test I should apply to analysis the data. Hereby Questionnaire is attached.
regroup SA and A into A and regroup SD and D into D. See what proportion of people A or D with your statements. Later, run chi square or logistic regression tests to see what predicts participants' agreement or disagreement. Predictors can be demographic characteristics. Let me know if this helps.
I suggest you carry out a scale reliability analysis on each of your sections with at least 3 questions to see whether any of them could be reduced into a single scale variable. I recommend using a Principal Component Analysis to do this - see my guide:
Dear Saurabh, it depends on your data. If you have a large data, chi square will do the work. If the data is not normal and you want to find the association between variables, i would suggest spearmanns correlation coeff as the best option.
To analyze the causal relations in your model, you will can use the Structure Equation Modeling. The Partial least square model is very adequability for your datas, because i think that it do no have normal distribuition (see Ringle, C., Silva, D., & Bido, D. S. (2014). Modelagem de Equações Estruturais com utilização do Smartpls. Revista Brasileira de Marketing, 13(2), 54-71 - in:http://www.revistabrasileiramarketing.org/ojs-2.2.4/index.php/remark/article/view/2717 - and choose the "PDF in English : " in the bottom of page). For analyze if it has two data groups in you bank, i recomed to use the FIMIX model (see Becker, J.-M., Rai, A., Ringle, C. M., and Völckner, F. 2013. Discovering Unobserved Heterogeneity in Structural Equation Models to Avert Validity Threats. MIS Quarterly, 37(3): 665-694.).
I looked at your questionnaire. First of all, I prefer to use reliability test for your questionnaire (Alpha Cronbach). then you can use SEM with AMOS for confirmatory factor analysis. you can also use the chi square, Wilcoxon two sample test or Mann-Whitney U-test (by using SPSS).
The Alpha de Cronbach will have problems when we have few variables in a construct (or subscale) . It will can show small values, but is not true. It is better to use Composite Reliability test.
Hi sir gud evening. I am ph.d scholar. My data collection will be complited. My questionnaire is teacher class room observation. A)good B)maderate c)poor. Which stast test i am taken plz replay sir.
