I have transformed rice plant by Agrobacterium mediated gene transfer system but getting problem of contamination by fungus. Is there any problem if I use antifungal in that plate to get rid of fungus. If so, what commercially available anti fungus I should use. For more, my construction doesn't have any gene that can make resistance against antifungal.

1. Usually it is not required to add antifungal agent in the tissue-culture medium. I suspect that the real culprit for the contamination is the failed 'sterilization' process. Or, it was contaminated during sub-culturing due to, for example, a contaminated tool (such as forceps) or the hood. Make sure your tools are clean and working environment is suitable for doing tissue-culturing.
