Good afternoon,
When we are facing a troubleshooting on GC-FID with standards. In big concentrations we dont have any trouble and all the Gauss type areas are on the proper retention time. After when we re going to smaller concentrations, there are no areas at all. Any clue what could be? Before some months we didnt have any problem at all.

it would be good to get some more information.
Which analytes, which detector FID or ECD.
Which column, which concentration range
Does no area = no peaks or the peaks can be seen but were not integrated?
Depending on these questions, the answers may vary.
