I am trying to transfect HFL-1 cells with a plasmid DNA.
I used Lipofectamine 3000 from ThermoScientific, however the cells seem to react quite sensitive to the transfection (tried different ratiosn and conc.)
Can't find much at the www and thermos homepage.. so i am hoping to get some advice here.
Does anyone have suggestions / used other tranfection methods in HFL-1 cells?

Hello Anja,
Did you try to remove the medium after transfection?
if you observe tox and you are not happy with the transfection efficiency, you should also consider trying other reagents, ther are so many on the market!
And importantly try other chemistries than cationic lipids, it can make a big difference...

yes I changed medium but that didn't help. I ordered now some reagents from lipocalyx (viromer) and will test hose.
if you have another good recommendation I am happy to hear about it.
