Why we are not taking T lymphocyte from body of the patient to train it against the patient's cancer cells, cultivate it and inject it back to the patient?
Even if this T lymphocyte would be killed by the immunitary regulation system, we could play on the quantity no?

Dear Pierre,
these ideas were pursued by Steven Rosenberg and colleagues. Expansion of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes ex vivo and then transferring them back into the patient. The field has shifted to CART recently.
