I am currently investigating in the usage of technology in the music class room in a collaborative creation setting, with kids aged 14-16.
Here, I am using interviews to develop an understanding of their experiences and opinions.
Reading up on relevant literature, it is often eg. described how the teacher-learner releation changes, but there is also the fact that teachers and students may be on a different level of "knowledge" about ICT. It could be that pupils, because they use a lot of (digital) technology in everyday life, know "more" than their teachers. This made me very curious to know more about teacher's perspective and opinions?
Are you as music education (context: school!) using ICT? Since when? in which way? What are you observing? What are your opinions, your experiences? Since when have you been teaching? Was ICT already on your teacher's training curriculum? Where are you situated?
Can I suggest you create an online survey? Will make responding easier. Would also be interesting to see if there have been some change in teacher expert level due to adaptive experiences during COVID-19
