All we know that every individual is unique - and that is in particular why one needs only few hours of sleep to get fully refreshed and ready for the next day work (or to face/to fight the next-day-problems). And of course it should depend on age (but in fact - it does not
So, it's amazing that some people need only 3-4 hours of sleep; but for other 10-12 hours is not enough. Here I an speaking about situation when those sleepers that are under comparison - had a day without stresses.
I am placing this question before you because since recently the problem of duration of sleep - became my problem (Guys, you will say visit your psychologist). But truly speaking I have a very quiet and smooth life.
Thus, I go to bed at around midnight and awake absolutely refreshed. It is dark in the street. I am trying to guess: "what time is it ?"
- it should be 6 or 7 am I think. BUT NO !!! It's only 2 am.
Recently I saw an article where the author describing the life in 18th century used terms "1st sleep" (i.e. exactly as my 2 hours) and "2nd sleep" divided by 2-3 hours.
