TAE buffer vs TE buffer for DNA stock storage?

Hi,

Can DNA stocks be resuspended and stored in 1x TAE buffer vs. 1x TE buffer without negative effects? It would be simpler for my process to store the DNAs in TAE, however most sources recommend TE buffer.

I am not doing PCR.
