Dear Researchers,

I’m currently working on a project and I am interested in the subcellular location where the protein degradation occurs. Some studies, suggest that nuclear ubiquitin–proteasome degradation of the protein is involved, but I’ve also come across hints that cytoplasmic degradation might play a role under certain conditions.

Could you suggest a test or method to clarify where degradation takes place ?

Any references or insights would be greatly appreciated.
