I'm just wondering what the resolution limits are of EELS and EDX. In essence I have titanium dioxide nanoparticles (~ 10-20nm) which have been doped with various heavy metals, would EELS or EDX be resolved enough to see differences in the atomic composition on an almost atomic scale so as to differentiate areas of the nanoparticles made up of titanium versus those composed of other metals?
