Hello all,

I am looking for a reference (preferably book) of following relationship between 3-phase motor current and individual phase currents.

I_motor = SQRT(2/3* ((Ipx1)^2+(Iph2)^2+(Iph3)^2))

Where Iphx are RMS values of current through respective phases.

I guess my question is very basic for Motor Drive Experts who use this relationship on daily basis.
