I am a hair transplant physician. Often the people who are affected most severely by diffuse generalized hair loss are the very patients who are NOT candidates for hair transplant procedure. It would be wonderful to wave a magic wand and reverse their thin hair with thick terminal hair? I would love to optimize my protocol to ensure the highest yield of GF's and platelets to ensure better results? Please can anyone help me?

My experience is to give the PRP every 4-6 weeks. I use a mesogun and the injections are just under the skin surface. Sometimes I also use injections with an hair serum based on phosphatidic acid.
Please mind the sub clinical hypothyroid problems.
Just this week I did start a pilot study with a new hair serum. After 6 month we will score the results.

I am so desperate to try and help my elderley patients with thinning hair? I am now starting to give them all high doses of Biotin (5mg bd)

Hello Larry,
The pilot study with our hair serum is a topical application, 3 times a week. I hope it wil instead of the injections.
The injections with the phosphatidic acid I also give once every 4-6 weeks. I do get these from a company in Italy and it's called Hair plus.
The best oral suppletion is with omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin D3 and ( only in my experience) vitamin K2 and fulvic acid ( the free form).
