I am doing chiral separation of drugs on reverse phase Chirobiotic V column. One of the methods require that I use triethylamine acetate in methanol as mobile phase. The only instruction I have found on preparing the TEAA is from Astec which says,

"TEAA can be prepared by adjusting a 0.1% aqueous solution of triethylamine with acetic acid to the

appropriate pH. Make sure the triethylamine used is anhydrous and fresh."

I need help in a good method to prepare the buffer, and how I can determine the pH as I am supposed to be adjusting the pH.
