I'm afraid you cannot do that easily in SPSS. Also, result would be undesirable.

I recommend you to do that in R or other software which is easy and virtualizations is also great.

There's no direct option for this in SPSS. However, do have a look at the candisc library in R (specifically, the plot.cancor function).

Thanks for the assistance! I have been playing around with this for a bit with trouble.

For anyone looking for the same question in the future - I figured out how to do it in SPSS 27 which has the canonical correlation test under analysis -> correlation.

In the options tab for the CCA, save the scores to a new dataset, then plot set1_1 and set2_1 against each other in a scatter plot and add a fit line. This will be the plot of the canonical correlation :) hope this helps!

fortunately, in the 28 version, the canonical correlation is added by the company however in the 27 version it was available by extension.
