it should be possible. I've done it from P9 old mice, it worked well. There are publications describing cultures from adult mice: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23159795.

it depends on how long you want to use the slices. For cultures longer than a week, you need to use mice of p5-8. But it sure is worth a try!
