Hi all,
I'm doing a non linear analysis using ansys. Total the assy contains housing,valve and a stopper. the housing and stopper are rigid material (PP/PC) and valve is silicone (shore 70 A). Just to try i use Static structural but i get error message the elements ate distorted and large deflection. Do you have any idea to simplify the problem.
Boundary conditions:
Force of 27 N
Fixed support
need to find the deformation of the valve
Have you activated the large deflection option in the analysis settings?
Since it is a non-linear contact, I would try to use a different type of solver and change the time step
Thats what im trying to sort . Im changing the time steps . What solver need to use?
I tried increasing the steps and using direct solver but its not working out.
