I have just enrolled in the diabetes research group. I will work on ins-1 cells of pancreatic beta cells. AGEs effect of these cells as well as by using novel AGEs inhibitors to observe the restored function of pancreatic beta cells.
I read several papers regarding insulin production measurements in ins-1 cells which is determined in almost every paper by an ELISA kit, I just want to know an alternate method to find the production of insulin in pancreatic beta cells(ins-1 cells).

We use to measure the insulin concentration by the classic RIA with labeled insulin.
