Hello everyone,

I'm trying to quantify the concentration of mNeonGreen by measuring the absorbance and using Beer's law (A = εcl). On the following site, https://www.fpbase.org/protein/mneongreen/, I found the extinction coefficient of mNeonGreen as 116,000/(M*cm) and I wonder in what wavelength I should measure the absorbance to apply Beer's law. Is it mNeonGreen's excitation wavelength (506nm)? In such a case, wouldn't the emission light which has a wavelength of 517nm interfere with the absorbance at 506nm since it's too close?

Thank you in advance for your time and answer!

Best,

Kwon
