There is a history Geodatabse which is vector in format and ways as vectors are extracted from satellite images. Is there any way to find matching ways in 2 layers? I would be grateful if someone can help me.
Hello Alireza. I do not know if I understood your question correctly, but maybe you can use ArcGIS and the function "Select by location" to find the matching ways. See https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/map/working-with-layers/using-select-by-location.htm . Although you have to be aware that also crossed ways will be selected. There are also other possibilities, which might do the job. Like an overlay analysis. See https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/analyze/commonly-used-tools/overlay-analysis.htm . If you have problems due to the fact that you are dealing with Line-Feature-Classes, maybe you can create and use buffers to overcome that problem. Regards Paul
