Hi All,

I want to sort for a rare population of cells expressing a certain intracellular marker. My cells are fixed and permeabilized with Triton X-100. Can I enrich for this population using Ab-magnetic beads (MACS)? Is there a company that supplies magnetic beads for antibody conjugation that are small enough to pass through the permeabilized cell membrane? If anyone has tried it, I would be very interested to hear about your experiences! If not, can anyone suggest a different method of enrichment pre-FACS? Currently my sorting times are unacceptably long. I do not have a suitable surface marker for standard enrichment.
