Hi. I am looking for dyes (preferably green or blue) that are very stable (time and temperature), do not change color between pH 6-9 and do NOT interact with proteins or sugars. Thanks
Hello. I have very good experience with Atto from Atto-Tec. However I am not sure if they might react at any pH - at least with proteins we never saw such effect. However it might be difficult to bring them inside cells if you need to do so. You can get them with streptavidin or biotin to form bonds to protein, also labeled DNA and any stuff is available:
Hi Franz, this is interesting, however I will not be using it to treat of dye cells. I just need it to be stable and to not interact with anything. These dyes are not really what I had in mind. Thanks anyway
Ideally it would be a dye, not fluorescent. Something easy to see with the naked eye. Green or blue are good colors for what I need them. The most important part is that they must be very stable over time, pH and temperature and must be very water soluble
