Liquid-liquid partition for hydroglicolic liquid extract? I obtained a hydroglycolic liquid extract from the leaves that presented 69% of antioxidant activity from the DPPH assay. However, the assay did not show good results, its maximum antioxidant activity being 40% at the concentration of 0.300 mg / mL. I do not know exactly if it is a solubility problem, test with ethanol, methanol, isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. For solvents methanol and isopropyl alcohol were not very soluble, for the ethanol and distilled water being able to carry out the test, but the results were not good. I would like to know a methodology and / or solvents to obtain a net information for the determination of fractions from the hydroglicolic liquid extract.
